So, you want to run a giveaway through Hot Mess Lit? Great. Let’s make sure we’re on the same page before you send me DMs asking why I won’t bend the rules for you.  

What I Host

 Books, subscription boxes, and relevant products—If it aligns with my blog’s vibe, I’m open to hosting.  

 No weird pyramid scheme giveaways, influencer-style cash grabs, or “exposure in exchange for free labor.” 

How It Works  

 You provide the prize. I don’t purchase prizes for giveaways, nor do I handle fulfillment. That’s your job.  

 I promote the giveaway. I’ll create blog posts, TikToks, and possibly additional social media posts, but don’t expect me to spam my audience endlessly.  

 You ship the prize. I don’t want emails from angry winners asking where their book or box is. You handle shipping and communication with the winner(s).  

Giveaway Hosting Fees

Hosting a giveaway isn’t free because my time is valuable. If you want me to feature your giveaway:  

- Basic Hosting (Blog + Social Post) – $10  

- Premium Hosting (Blog + TikTok Video + Multiple Social Shares) – $20

- If I have the product and am doing a review for you and you also want a giveaway hosted with it - $0 (Free)

All payments are for my promotional effort, NOT for influencing the winner selection. Transparency matters.  

Additional Terms

 I reserve the right to refuse any giveaway. If I think the product is irrelevant, shady, or just a waste of time, I’m not interested.  

 Winners are chosen fairly. I don’t rig giveaways, pick favorites, or entertain requests for “special treatment.” If your brand requires shady practices, find another blog.  

 Fulfillment is on YOU. If a winner doesn’t get their prize, it’s your responsibility—not mine.
